in response to djchuang comment

hey djchuang. thanks for your comments bro. Yes I guess I did find it weird that someone wanted to know who I was but they themselves posted anon. I guess I was a bit vague & did not understand what they were really getting at. What do they mean who am I. My profile is there for anyone to check out. Anyway, in answer to your Q, I haven't subscribed to any particular web community - emailing, chat rooms, blogs etc are all good ways to keep in touch and develop a sense of community. Many people are far more intimate over the internet. Peace. Donovan SC

thanks for your post, and looking around the blog, both your profile and first entry gives a good "bio" about yourself. Not sure what 'anon' was after. But for me, I wanted to find out more about how you were embracing the "virtual world" b/c you said that 'real time communities' are past. Reading your answer now, I'm wondering if the 'virtual world' is still more of an experimental thing rather than becoming a primary means for relating for a majority of real people.

Wise words djchuang. maybe you are right on the experimental angle? Although, where there are people finding connection (ie. through the internet), we should attempt to work toward placing Christ at the centre of that social energy. What do you think?
